Yoga Therapeutics engages the body’s natural healing mechanisms through precise principles of alignment, restorative yoga, breath techniques and meditation.
This comprehensive approach helps heal the body while strengthening it through balanced action. Following this method helps you recover from injury, surgery, stress-related disease, and/or immune system disorders in ways that bring lasting benefits. The nervous system settles and the subtle body is at ease, bringing relief from anxiety and depression.
Yoga Therapeutics helps heal and relieve:
- Back pain
- Spinal anomalies
- Knee injury and pain
- Hip tightness
- Sports injuries
- High Blood Pressure
- Breathing difficulties
- Headaches, Migraines
Yoga Therapeutics also supports:
- Cancer patients, during treatment, in recovery, in remission
- Fertility enhancement
- Mental and emotional well-being
- Recovery from surgery
Stress is recognized as a major component in disease and as an inhibitor in injury recovery. Restorative yoga, meditation and simple breathing techniques are an antidote to stress, balancing our nervous system, re-oxygenating our cells and restoring and supporting our immune system. The use of props and breathwork in restorative yoga promotes relaxation, pain relief, blood and lymph flow, and the gentle opening of chronically tight muscle groups.
