I believe in the transformational power of yoga. In my 25 years of teaching I’ve witnessed monumental shifts in habits, behavior, and attitude in my students and myself. Yoga’s greatest gift is teaching us the preciousness of who we are and inviting to us live from this place.
I teach students both privately and in groups, online and in person.
What I do is intuitive, physiological, neurological and spiritual. and is based on over 900 hours of training. My teachings are an offering from my heart to yours.
My classes are theme-based with precise and playful instruction woven into progressive sequences designed to safely and optimally open your body and lift your spirits.
In a one-on-one private session, the student and I co-create a series of action and movements uniquely chosen to address current goals, anomalies, injuries, and/or mental health concerns. I am continually amazed by the magic that occurs when two people come together with the common goal of whole-body healing through self-inquiry and therapeutic asana (poses).
My overarching aim is to spark a desire in each student to discover their natural goodness through greater self-awareness.
I am a Registered yoga teacher (E-RYT-500, YACEP) and certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT). My teaching is inspired by 25 years of teaching and training in Anusara, Iyengar, Power Vinyasa, and Integrative Yoga Therapeutics. My teachers, for whom I am forever grateful, include Bo Forbes, Deb Neubauer, Desiree Rumbaugh, Todd Norian, John Friend, Rolf Gates, Douglas Brooks, and Paul Muller-Ortega.
I offer private yoga therapeutic sessions at your home, work place, or at the studio. My public classes are at The Parish of The Epiphany and Earthly Bodies Yoga & Movement in Beverly, MA. Join me soon for a class or a private session.
